This is Mihidu Tours’ working 14-day private itinerary, combining Wilpattu safari, the ancient city of Anuradhapura, Trincomalee beach time, Sigiriya, Kandy, tea country, scenic rail, Ella and the southern coast before returning to Colombo.

Early 6:00 a.m. jeep pickup for a half-day safari in Wilpattu National Park. Afterwards, continue to the ancient city of Anuradhapura and stay overnight there.
After breakfast, continue the ancient-site visit before travelling east to Trincomalee for the overnight stay.
A slower day by the beach for rest and relaxation in Trincomalee.
Travel toward Sigiriya and visit either Sigiriya Rock or Pidurangala Rock according to the agreed itinerary and guest preference.
Travel from Sigiriya to Kandy, visiting Dambulla Cave Temple and a Matale spice garden along the way, then stay overnight in Kandy.
Explore the Royal Botanic Gardens, Bahirawakanda Buddha statue, Kandy viewpoint, a cultural dance performance and the Temple of the Tooth.
Travel into the highlands with stops at a tea factory, tea plantation and Ramboda Falls before the Nuwara Eliya overnight stay.
